Psalm 16

Summary
The Psalmist rejoices in the righteousness of the saints of God and in his future redemption. A fulness of joy can only be found when one stands in the presence of the Lord.

| (2) O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; | (2) Thou hast said unto me, thou art the Lord my God: My goodness is extended unto thee. |
| (3) But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. | (3) And to all the saints that dwell in the earth and |
| (4) Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. | (4) And the wicked, there is no delight in them. Their sorrows shall be multiplied upon all those who hasten for to seek another god. Their drink offerings of blood will I not except nor take up their names into my lips. |
