Summary
God blesses Noah and his family and commands them to multiply and replenish the earth. Man will be feared by all other creatures, and will have dominion over all forms of life. God decrees the death penalty for any man who takes the life of another man. God makes a covenant with man and all other living creatures that he will never destroy the earth with a flood again. God gives the rainbow as the token of His covenant with man. Noah plants a vineyard, and Ham sees Noah in his drunken nakedness. He and his posterity are cursed by Noah to be servants to Shem and Japheth.
