Summary

Jethro brings Moses’s wife and children into the wilderness and meets Moses. They offer sacrifice unto the Lord. Moses is a judge in Israel and hears the cases of the Israelites. Jethro encourages Moses to delegate power and appoint judges under him. Moses heeds Jethro’s council.
