Summary

The Psalmist declares that the Lord loves both righteousness and righteous judgement. The nation who claims that God is their Lord will be blessed.

(1) Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.(1) Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous. To praise the Lord is comely for the upright in heart.
(2) Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.(2) Praise the Lord with thy voice, sing unto him with the psaltery and harp, and an instrument with ten strings.
(4) For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.(4) For the word of the Lord is given to the upright, and all his works are done in truth.
(9) For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.(9) For he spake and it was finished, he commanded and it stood fast.
