We don’t know the name of the city, but it is the place where Simeon and Levi came and killed all the men, including Shechem and Hamor, because Shechem had defiled their sister, Dinah. The sons of Jacob subsequently spoiled the city, taking sheep, oxen, asses, the contents of the city and the field, their wealth, their children, and their wives (Genesis 34:20, 24-25, 27-28).
