One of the locations where the children of Israel camped on their way out of Egypt. More specifically, it is the place where Pharaoh and his army overtook the children of Israel, and where they crossed the Red Sea. It is said to be “between Migdol and the sea” (Exodus 14:2) and “before Baal-zephon” (Exodus 14:9).
