Tabernacle Structure

The Tabernacle proper, meaning the main tent-structure, was divided into two main rooms, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. The structure was made of 48 panels set in 96 silver bases with rods running down the sides to tie the panels together. They were then covered by four layers, first, by a colorful woven fabric embroidered with cherubim, second, a loomed goat hair tent fabric, third, by red dyed ram skins, and fourth, a layer of durable leather.
